The Remaining Scab is Gone

It's official, the wound appears to be healed.  Last night the remaining scab came off.  While getting comfortable in bed, my heel brushed against the sheets, and it came off.  I could feel a slight pinch when it happened.  I immediately turned on the light, and took a look.  It seems to have healed nicely, however, there is almost a divot or dent where the last part of the scab used to be.  I'm not sure if this is normal, or if it will eventually heal more.  In the morning, I decided to still put a band-aid on it, just in case I was missing something (I still think I'm paranoid about it becoming infected).  I'll see how it adjusts over the next couple of days.
